This site is dedicated to the memory of Terry Booth.

Dad was a private man who rarely gave away his emotions but he loved his family, dogs and the world of nature. He could often be found reading a book - on such diverse topics as World History, thrillers, the Natural World and even Horror - or in the shed making some shelving, bird boxes or cold frames for the garden. He was recycling years before it became fashionable to do so and every family member has some Wombles-style furniture made by him. When Dad learned that the annoying cough that had irritated him for a couple of years was actually a rare form of lung cancer, which affects non-smokers, he was stoical and very brave. He died with dignity a few short months later and we miss him every day. He quietly supported a number of charities throughout his life and I am sure he would find it fitting that we want to support the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation as a tribute to him.
